The sun is glowing in the trees on this clear, crisp mid-October morning. The greens are bouncing back after all the crazy late season heat. Sunflowers and squash are hiding among the chard… we’ll see!
It’s so easy to not plant a garden, but then we’d miss out on all this! And, I know the kids and the husband would be sad if every savory meal wasn’t a Trojan Horse experience, with shards of chard chiffonade slipped into soup, pasta, frittatas, etc.
