Honey Extraction

We had the opportunity to participate in a honey extraction, with the local beekeepers group. We jumped at the opportunity, since we have honey that we need to process, and thought this would be a fun way to get acquainted with the process, and some of our fellow beekeepers.

Spring in the Bee Yard

Carniolan honey bees on the newly built bee platform, one week after the walk away split + new queen (for the new colony), Monterey Bay super bloom (wild radish, echium, milk thistle) and Queenie the goose (she’s setting).
